About Me

Hi! My name is Fabio, I’m a Free Software enthusiast who enjoys lowlevel programming and electronic design.

My professional experience includes Linux kernel hacking and driver development for ARM and PowerPC embedded architectures, operating system and bootloader customizations, and microcontroller based designs.

In the past I worked as a Kernel Hacker for Linaro, and as a Firmware Engineer for Si14, a small start-up company.

In my spare time I like to do some (more!) kernel hacking for hardware I own and work on small electronic/firmware projects, mostly involving Atmel AVR microcontrollers, field busses, networking, automation etc…

My other hobbies includes playing bass with my friends, socializing with cats, drinking coffee and traveling around the world with my girlfriend. She has a nice page about travelling in Ireland… check it out!
